Dora Capozza

ARCHITECT

An architect with expertise in design, she has always been involved in the restoration, recovery, and redevelopment of historical heritage, as well as landscape and green space projects. She oversaw the restoration and conservative renovation of the buildings that now comprise Il Carrubo, respecting local heritage construction techniques. The project revitalizes a central part of the Sassi di Matera, near the former Monastery of Santa Lucia alla Civita, Porta Postergola, on Via Madonna delle Virtue.

PRESIDENT

A teacher of Sports Science at the Hotel Management Institute in Matera, he studied at the ISEF Urbino and is a volleyball, table tennis, trekking, and Nordic walking coach. He also serves as a trainer at the School of Sport in Rome. He is an expert in understanding and promoting the Matera area.
