Room C – Superior Double Room ( LOE)
A large room of approximately 45m2, rectangular in shape, with a barrel vault or lamia, hence the name lamione, testifies to the elementary residential cell of the Sassi: a single living room that develops in depth.
The intervention respected the internal spatiality, creating a low, articulated fifth wall characterised by two niches for a bedside table, no higher than the intrados line of the barrel vault to identify the space of the double bedroom, more reserved, with an open space furnished with two single beds, a small table with chairs/armchairs forming a small sitting area where, upon request, an armchair/bed can be placed. The furnishings are completed by designer bedside tables/stools, a’ hanging room in a niche, two long wooden slatted benches, a waste bin, TV, refrigerator, lamps;
It has a light wood slatted floor mounted on magatelli: the environment is perfect for a family stay or for young couples or friends who love to share the space, thus interpreting the spirit of places and the peasant culture of being and putting things together.
From the living room it will be possible to relax and admire, through the large door/glass window, the panorama that the Murgia Park offers with its rock churches.
On the desk table you can see a print of the fresco of San Eustacchio, visible inside the monastic complex of San Eustacchio – 18th century – in the Loe valley
The bathroom floor and cladding are made of light-colored porcelain stoneware slabs with mosaic inlays in the ’ large shower with emotional light; the bathroom is complete with bathroom fixtures, a large oval sink on a comfortable natural stone surface, a forced air exchange, and two glass squares at the top for diffusing natural light from above.
