The “Tibetan Bridge”:
The pedestrian walkway, known as the “Tibetan Bridge,” is one of the main attractions for hikers, including those with less experience. One meter wide and suspended 9 meters above the Gravina stream, it allows visitors to cross the stream, starting from Porta Postergola in the Sasso Caveoso, and reach Contrada Murgia Timone in the Matera Murgia Park.
Walking along Trail 406 accompanied by a certified Wilderness Guide, you will be immersed in evocative landscapes and typical local vegetation, surrounded by the scent of wild thyme. While exploring local history and traditions, you will reach strategic panoramic viewpoints and iconic locations used in famous biblical films, eventually discovering stunning rock complexes that never fail to amaze.
